Acting UP is RUMC’s adult and family-centered Drama Ministry. Our mission is provide an outreach to the community to promote the dramatic arts. We are an open group. You do not need to be a member of RUMC to become a part of Acting UP. We actually encourage non-church members to join us as part of our mission. ALL ARE WELCOME!

Acting UP began with a presentation of Godspell in Summer 2012, and has continued its mission with famous productions such as You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, The Music Man, Oklahoma!, Bye Bye Birdie, Steel Magnolias, Mary Poppins, Oscar & Felix: A New Look at the Odd Couple, Meet Me in St Louis, Barefoot in the Park, and most recently Annie. In addition to these major productions, Acting UP is active producing live sketches for our sermon series and various events around campus.

Our 2019 season includes a March dinner theater, Arsenic and Old Lace, and the Andrew Lloyd Webber hit musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat to be performed on July 25-28.
