bible studies
These groups are comprised of people from a variety of stages in life. They come together throughout the year to strengthen each other in community and faith through fellowship and study. They focus mainly on short-term studies so people can join for a season or for the year. Our upcoming studies are listed below.
Job and the Life of Faith: Widsom for Today's World
The book of Job cuts straight to the heart of what it means to be human and wrestles with some of life’s most perplexing questions. Why do bad things happen to good people? Is there a correspondence between sin and suffering, obedience and blessing? Why should we serve God if there are no guarantees of blessings a freedom from loss and harm. While God does not answer Job’s questions, He leads Job to recognize faith as an exercise in radical trust that will sustain him no matter what hard time or reversal comes. With unpredictability ramping up in our world, we need Job’s lessons to help us persevere without losing our trust in God.
