A place of community and faith
We're so glad you're here
RUMC is more than "just a church," or somewhere you go on a Sunday morning. We are a place of community and faith open to anyone and everyone looking for something more. Whether you seek connection, community, a deeper relationship with God, or even just a warm smile on a bad day, we are here for you.
We invite you to join us, wherever you are on your journey, in whatever way works for you. We offer a variety of worship and community experiences; opportunities to learn and serve; and extensive care and counseling services.
We are welcoming
We believe all people matter to God, so they matter to us.
We are compassionate
We are committed to seeing and serving others.
We are biblical
We believe scripture is inspired by God, and are committed to its timeless truths.
The RUMC STory
Roswell United Methodist Church has been a place of community and faith for the residents of Roswell, GA, since our beginnings over 175 years ago, in a small log cabin in 1836. With over 7,000 members, we are one of the largest churches in the United Methodist North Georgia Conference. That said, we are a church built on close, personal relationships. All are welcome, and we'd love for you to join us.
Our guiding Beliefs
United Methodists affirm the faith shared by all Christians, with particular emphasis on God's grace and on Christian living. These introductory pages will help you discover what it means to be a United Methodist.
Our doors are always open
The Counseling Center
The Counseling Center is located at the far end of the Sanctuary south parking lot. The center hosts a number of support groups and as well as counseling services from professional, independent practitioners.
