Life with father
By Howard Lindsay
Life with Father remains the longest running and most successful non-musical on Broadway at 8 years and 3, 224 performances. This is a charming story set in the 1880s where Father – Clarence Day - tries to run his home as efficiently as his Wall Street office, but usually fails, because his wife, Vinnie, turns out to be the real head of the household!
