Worship Connection for Children. We welcome children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade to attend Worship Connection each Sunday morning following the children’s moment in the Welcome Home Nine-Thirty worship service. Worship Connection, held in room 155 of the Sanctuary building, will teach children more about why we worship, different ways of worshiping God, and introduce them to the symbols they see in church. If you are interested in serving with this ministry, please contact Rev. Kristin Heiden, email@example.com.
Calling All Adults and Youth (6th grade and up) to be a part of our multi-generational choir for the Welcome Home Nine-Thirty service. This is not a weekly commitment for rehearsals or services. We would contact you by email for rehearsals and let you know when we would be singing at the 9:30 a.m. service. If you are interested, please contact Cheryl Rogers, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Meet our Worship Leaders.
Luke has been leading worship for over 10 years. After leading for several years at a large church in the Tampa Bay, Florida area, Luke felt God leading him and his family to move to the Atlanta area to become more involved with leading worship and singing, as well as worship coaching and training. Luke currently leads worship most weeks each year all around the Atlanta area. Outside of the music that he enjoys so much, Luke is also heavily involved in the startup and entrepreneurial community in Atlanta, where he has founded 3 startup companies that he is currently overseeing. In his spare time, Luke enjoys keeping up with the tech world, as well as riding motorcycles with his Dad. Luke loves spending time with his wife Liz, and their 3 children: Tristan (4), and Chanson and Aria (2 year old twins).
Rachael has been leading worship for various audiences for the last 25 years. Most weekends you can find her in the Atlanta area leading worship. Rachael and her husband, Jon, have traveled most of their marriage, Jon speaking and Rachael singing to crowds of varying ages from junior high to adult groups. Their heart is to help connect others to the heart of God and recognize their absolute need for Him. She lives in the area with her husband Jon, and their two children, Sawyer (age 5) and Bailey Rae (age 9).
