“Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them.” – Matthew 18:20

RUMC provides opportunities for Singles in their 50s and up to worship, fellowship and serve. Come journey together with other Singles.

  • Sunday School: Single Friends of Faith is a class of active single adults, 55+, who want to enhance their spiritual and personal growth through fellowship, study and missions. The class invites all Singles in the community, whether Widowed, Divorced or never married to join us. Our focus is based on RUMC’s mission to Invite, Grow and Serve.

We serve the community via current mission projects, such as Operation Backpack, Operation Sweatshirt, Souper Bowl and Atlanta Women’s Shelter. We also continue to offer our financial gifts and services to local and global missions.

We meet in the RUMC Building A  Room 251 (Second floor)

  • STAR – Singles Together at Roswell
The purpose of STAR (Singles Together At Roswell) is as a support, social, religious, service and fellowship group for single adults 60 & over of all circumstances (single, divorced, separated or widowed).  Its primary purpose is to provide singles with positive fellowship and interaction with other singles through social activities, community service and church programs.  It is not our purpose to pair people off but to help singles discover the wholeness God intended for them as individuals. STAR meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. for dinner and a speaker in the Trinity Cafe at Roswell United Methodist Church. For more information and to make dinner reservations, contact Nancy Scott (scottcoga@bellsouth.net or 770-993-2012)
