March 2-5, 2023 is our time of Serving Side by Side,
and Roswell UMC will highlight and support those who are serving locally and globally. We offer many ways during this time to partner, serve, and connect with our community. Men's breakfast

Father daughter dance
Join RUMC and DJ Greg Piciano for a Father/Daughter Dance as a part of our mission month kick-off! Put on your dancing shoes, and bring a new pair of shoes to donate to the children served by Foster Care Support Foundation. For more information, email missions@rumc.com.

GET your canned goods to church
You asked, and we listened! For the entire month of March, Get Your Canned Goods to Church to be donated to North Fulton Community Charities Food Pantry. Members of the Boy Scout Troops will be available outside of the Sanctuary Building to collect your canned food.
Items Needed:
- 1lb bags of rice
- peanut butter
- jelly
- tuna
- canned chicken or fish
- meats
- tomato products
- pasta
- juice boxes
- pasta sauce
- full-size toiletries
- dried beans

Spend the day in the community connecting and serving. We offer projects for individuals and families of all ages and stages.

Project transformation
The mission of Project Transformation is to transform communities by engaging children, college-age young adults, and churches in purposeful relationships.
Help us code books for age-appropriate levels. Training and all necessary information and equipment will be provided. This is a great activity for older elementary and high school as well as adults.

MUST Neighborhood Pantry
MUST Neighbor's Pantry needs your help in three different easy and fun ways:
- First, volunteer to take food items stored that are needing to be taken to the North Fulton Community Charities Food Pantry. Only about 4 people are needed for this project.
- Secondly, Shoppers are needed to buy laundry detergent, packs/rolls of toilet paper, packs/rolls of paper towels, and full-size toiletry items. Please consider spending time on Saturday to shop for these items and bring them straight to the Fellowship Hall, Saturday, March 4 by 2 p.m. or during church hours on Sunday.
- Third: Be a part of the pantry. Monday night at 4 pm, sign up to "staff" a table to distribute all collected items.

Giving garden work day
Meet us in the garden to replant cool-weather seeds and harvest what is ready!

D.A.R.E. Disaster relief
Ever wonder what a Hurricane Recovery Trip looks like? Take this opportunity to join a one-day trip to a Griffin, Georgia to be part of the recovery efforts.


Prayer Quilt ministry
This ministry gives the gift of a quilt to an individual going through serious illness or challenging circumstances. The quilt is placed on the altar during worship; those in worship are invited to offer prayer while placing hands on the quilt or by tying a knot in the ribbon attached to the quilt.

As a part of our Serving Side by Side Mission weekend, join us on Sunday, March 5 from 2-4 p.m. for Mini Gold for Missions. Throughout the course, you will have a chance to learn about the awesome folks you support! This event is FREE. See you there, and be sure to bring your putting A-game!
