Here at RUMC, we believe this call to holy living is an offering of our whole selves: mind, heart, and body. One final piece of this call to holy living is to care for and offer our bodies to God so that God may transform us inside and out. We hope you will join us as we seek to honor our bodies through health and fitness.

Childcare is available on the second floor of the Chapel building on the Roswell Kids hallway.

Class Descriptions

Power 20

This class offers a little bit of everything: cardio, weights, core, and flexibility training. Divided into 20 minute segments, you will get a full body workout with plenty of variety.

Bring: exercise band or set of 5-10 lb. weights and mat or towel

Turbo Kick

The ultimate cardio-kickboxing experience, Turbo Kick LIVE is perfect for the beginner and elite fitness enthusiast alike! This fat-burning workout combines cardio kickboxing with body-sculpting HIIT moves choreographed to the hottest music mixes.

PiYo

PiYo combines the muscle sculpting moves of pilates with the flexibility moves of yoga and adds in nonstop, fluid movement set to some amazing music. Bring your yoga mat and get ready to sweat!

Barre

Barre is a low-impact workout and can be done by women of all shapes, sizes, and ages. As long as you can hold on to the ballet barre you can do this workout! No dancing experience is required.

Bring: yoga mat and hand weights.

Gentle Yoga

This gentle yoga class moves at a slower pace, so it is accessible to people of ALL ages and fitness levels. Expect an atmosphere of safety, compassion, and acceptance. Yoga is a great way to relieve stress and improve strength and flexibility. Each class incorporates Sun Salutations, basic balancing postures, restorative back bends and basic twists. Beginners welcome!
