Good News Club

Goes to School!

Mountain Park Elementary has started a ‘Good News Club’ After-School Bible Study. God put it on the hearts of RUMC members Jett Denton and Stacy Damico to spearhead a group of volunteers from RUMC, and recruit numerous parent volunteers from the school to assist. More than 60 children enjoyed their first session together yesterday, learning about Jesus the Good Shepherd. Please be in prayer that this ministry flourish and for all leadership heading up this ministry. What a blessing to have parents with a heart for taking the Gospel outside the church and understanding the importance of growing up a community of faith and fellowship with their children’s friends!

Special Needs Ministry Team - We would love to be able to provide friends to connect with.

InsideOUT Team - we are taking children's ministry outside the church walls of RUMC into the community to meet new families and form relationships based on connecting with their children through activities.

Kidz Zone Konnection Ministry - If your family would be interested in providing hospitality to visiting families who have children the age of your children let us know and we will get you connected.

REMINDER - ALL ELEMENTARY KIDS

Each week in Kidz Zone we are having "Race for the Verse" in Large Group. Bring your Bible for a chance to be onstage and win prizes for finding the verse first. Some Sundays there will be prizes for EVERYONE who has their Bible with them.

Where in the World is Kidz Zone?

Our new Large Group Leader Alex Yankowsky has challenged our kids to take Kidz Zone with them wherever they go. He showed us an example where he and his family displayed a Kidz Zone logo at a Georgia football game. Grab a printed Kidz Zone logo while in Large Group and take a picture or video of your family celebrating by displaying the Kidz Zone sign. Take Kidz Zone with you to show the world. Who knows - maybe your video will be shown on Sunday or pop up on Facebook or YouTube.
