Bible Study -- There are numerous Bible Study opportunites that will help women grow in Christ's likeness. Click here for a list. The Women's Ministry Outreach is the Foster Care Support Foundation. FCS was founded and is operated by RUMC member Rachel Ewald. This group helps foster children throughout Georgia receive free clothes, toys and infant equipment. Because FCS is an all-volunteer community resource, it relies heavily on volunteers and always accepts donations of new and like-new children's clothing, car seats, cribs, strollers, high chairs and toys. In addition to in-kind and monetary donations, the foundation also needs volunteers to sort and hang seasonal clothing, restock and sort donated items, and help distribute items to children on Tuesdays through Saturdays. The center is open Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m; and Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This year, FCS expects from 2,500 to 3,000 foster children to come through its doors for much needed support. The Women's Ministries at RUMC provide many wonderful additional opportunities for spiritual growth. Chessie-Pelfrey is a circle group that meets first Mondays, August-June, at 11:30 a.m. Programs vary, each with a different speaker each month. These and other meetings are listed below:
