Dear RUMC Family,

Thanks be to God for the witness of the RUMC members and ministers who wrote this year’s In His Steps devotionals based on their own relationship with the heritage, present, and future of RUMC. Their heartfelt stories of faith and commitment will inspire us all in our faith journey and our commitment to RUMC.

In this year’s devotionals, we are including a Kidz Connection that was written by our Children’s Ministry. If you have children, I hope you set aside time to share these lessons about giving back to God.

Our 2012 In His Steps stewardship program will culminate on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011, when we offer our prayers, presence, and spiritual and financial gifts to support our 2012 ministries. May we follow the examples of those RUMC members who have preceded us, those whom we serve today, and those who will follow us, as we give generously and choose to walk In His Steps as passionate disciples.
