Attire To Hire!

RUMC Job Networking offers a unique service for jobseekers – donated "interview-ready" professional attire for attendees. From our "Attire To Hire" boutique closet, you can select clothing so that you are polished from head to toe, and ready for that most important face-to-face interview with the hiring manager.

Interview-Ready Attire Needed for RUMC Job Networking's "Attire to Hire" Boutique Closet

“Attire to Hire” has served 325 job seekers this year - ALL THANKS TO YOUR GENEROSITY

How can you help?  Donation Requests:

1) WOMEN (Professional, plus size attire is particularly needed.)

  • Black dress pants, all sizes

  • Women's tops for an interview − solid color shells, blouses, or shirts that can be worn under business jackets

  • Suits or business separates such as jackets, solid skirts and pants in any size, that are "up to date" in style.

  • Gently used handbags, slim briefcases or computer bags, scarves, and close-toed dress shoes

2) MEN (All men’s clothing sizes must be clearly marked.)

  • Suits or dark sport coats, especially navy blazers

  • Dress shirts of all sizes

  • Ties and men's belts

  • Dress shoes that are gently worn

Clothing should be current in style, cleaned or pressed, and clearly marked as to the size. We appreciate your donations but ask that you keep in mind that all attire must be interview-ready. The majority of our clients do not have funds for dry cleaning.

Bring your donated items to  Job Networking the second and fourth Mondays of the month between 4 and 8 p.m. (no meeting on Dec. 24), or contact Donna Litton, 678.358.8050 or dslitton@gmail.com, to make arrangements for delivery. We will provide a tax donation form when you drop off your items.

You cannot imagine how much our clients need and appreciate your assistance. Many of our job seekers have been out of the workplace for some time and they need our donations and guidance. Thank you for truly making a difference in our local community!
