Grief and Loss Support Group Roswell UMC
No meeting on Maundy Thursday, March 28, 2013 Where: Parlor (room B301), "B" buildingSuffering the loss of a loved one is one of the greatest losses anyone has to experience. The hurt that you are feeling can seem overwhelming at times as you journey through grief. To aid in your healing and offer support and encouragement, Roswell United Methodist Church offers a Grief & Loss Support Group. This group meets every Thursday evening. The meeting is structured and Christian-based, targeting those who have experienced a recent loss (within 0-24 months), and is facilitated by Rev. Dr. Carol Rawlinson, a pastor and professionally trained therapist. All age groups feel comfortable participating in this open group, anyone can begin attending at any time and stop at any time. This confidential group allows you to express your feelings without fear of criticism or judgement. Your fellow group members understand that grief continues long after friends or relatives might think otherwise. We realize it is difficult to come into any new setting when grieving but we encourage you to come and participate. Listening and sharing will contribute greatly to your healing.
