RUMC aims to bring God's love to those in need in all corners of the globe. We regularly We conduct annual mission trips to Honduras, Kenya, and Peru, as well as disaster relief missions to sites in the continental U.S. Trips are often scheduled on short notice so watch this space for updates!
D.A.R.E. TRIPSThe Disaster and Recovery Team makes monthly trips to Panama City, FL, to provide on-going aid in recovery from Hurricane Michael. The team typically leaves Thursday afternoon, works with partners/homeowners/folks in need on Friday & Saturday, and time permitting, attends church with a local congregation on Sunday. There is no cost for the trip except food and our DARE ministry will cover this as needed. No experience is required, just enthusiasm and heart to serve. If you have any construction skills or experience, please let us know as we plan trips and jobs according to skill level. All D.A.R.E. trips are currently on pause due to COVID-19. If you'd like to help when travel resumes, please contact Rev. Marion Brown or Leonard Scarborough
