Dr. Laura Minch McLain is a licensed psychologist in Georgia who is an active member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and Georgia Psychological Association (GPA).  She has worked in a variety of settings and with several populations including children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and developmental disabilities, emerging adults, depression, anxiety, self-esteem and identity issues, addictions, and relationship issues.  Currently, Dr. Minch McLain oversees the clinical program at the Renfrew Center of Georgia working with women with eating disorders.



Dr. Minch McLain is the owner of Resilient Living Counseling Center, which strives to help individuals work through the stressors of everyday life.  She uses her expertise with the strengths of her clients to identify ways to manage life’s challenges and achieve their goals.  Dr. Minch McLain is also passionate about helping couples improve their relationships. She believes knowledge is the first step in building resilience.

In addition to counseling, Dr. Minch McLain enjoys providing clinical supervision to psychology students and teaching.  She has given several workshops and CEUs throughout her career about eating disorders, addictions, female bullying, and identifying early warning signs for mental health issues to teachers, parents, and professionals.

Dr. Minch McLain enjoys spending time with her husband, friends, and family.  She loves to explore new places and learn about new cultures through travel.
