(No pre-registration required)

Did you know that 85% of the jobs available today are not found online? Finding these ‘hidden’ jobs can be overwhelming, so Judi will teach why and how to first focus on a list of five to ten target companies you really want to work for.

Next, Judi will share three specific tools for finding companies in your industry you may not have known existed or leveraged before. Judi will walk you through specific steps to take to tap into the hidden jobs at those companies, so you’ll be on their interview short list!

Before launching her job search coaching company, RightChanges, 9 years ago, Judi Adams was a 20+ year veteran of the information technology industry.

While working for software and consulting companies, Judi worked with diverse and notable corporations and industries including:, BellSouth, CSX Transportation, Home Depot, Lockheed Missile and Fire Control, NASA at Kennedy Space Center and many more.

In every job Judi held over the years, the most satisfying aspects of each position were identifying and implementing process improvements and developing staff through mentoring and training.

Judi Adams began coaching job seekers in 2002 in volunteer capacity following an eight-month job transition of her own. During that transition she discovered how much the job market had changed and the successful approach to landing that next job. In 2009 she left IT behind and launched her own company, RightChanges, providing an affordable solution to help individuals land a job they want!

In addition to coaching job seekers and speaking at area networking events, Judi has appeared on TV and radio, authored an Amazon hottest new release titled Found a Job Yet? And Other Questions NOT to Ask! And publishes job search articles that are read worldwide. RightChanges is a preferred outplacement solution for one of the area’s leading non-profits and leads workshops at major local universities.

Our Most Recent Meeting – Job Networking had 178 job seekers, employers, educators, and volunteers participate in workshops and other activities. We had 46 first time visitors to the program. Attire to Hire outfitted 1 job seeker. Great turnout in spite of the weather!

First Time or Newer to RUMC Job Networking? Don’t miss the Orientation Fast Start Session. Our Job Networking events offer a great deal of information, which we know can overwhelm newcomers. We can help you understand what we have to offer and decide which events you’d like to try in our Orientation Fast Start Session at 5 p.m. Room B 233–237 “Dining Room”.

Attire to Hire – Interview Ready Clothing4 – 8 p.m. If you have an interview and need one piece for an outfit or an entire outfit, be certain to stop by the “clothing store” located on the lower level of Building B. There is no cost involved. Come and see what we can do to help you look your best!

Dinner Program –  Our dinner speaker is Rusty Gordon.  Seating begins at 5:15 p.m. with serving to start at 5:30 p.m. Our dinner program is focused on developing your spiritual resume so you are not conducting your search alone! A donation of $3.00 for the dinner is appreciated; however, for those who are unable to contribute, the meal is on us. Our buffet may close around 6:15 p.m.

While all activities for Job Networking take place in the “B” building, please consider parking in the Sanctuary building (A) or Dodson Youth Center parking lots, due to large crowds.  CLICK HERE for a map and directions.
