Our Hospitality Team oversees many facets of RUMC including greeters, ushers, Wednesday Night Out dinners and more. See below for service opportunities and our weekly Wednesday Night Out Menu.
Wednesday Night Out (WNO)! The hospitality staff and servers hope you enjoy your meal. Plan to join us as we gather around the table for food and fellowship.
January 24th Menu:
- Adult: Chili bar: beef or chicken chili, baked potato, broccoli, roll, dessert, salad bar, iced tea and coffee.
- Children: Corn dogs, or pb&j with chips, broccoli, fruit, cookie, milk, juice or lemonade.
Serving hours: 4:45-6:30 p.m. Prices: adults $7, children age 3-11 $3, children under age 2 free, salad bar only $5 and family max $25. No reservations required. Parking Lot Greeter
Shifts are 9:15-9:40am or 10:30-11:00:am on Sunday. Also help with special worship services and concerts (Patriotic, Christmas concerts, Ash Wednesday, Good Friday and Christmas Eve Services). Stand at chapel and sanctuary driveway entrances or other key locations on campus to welcome and give directions to visitor parking lot at the sanctuary or other destination on campus. Also have one volunteer each Sunday stand in visitor parking lot at the sanctuary to assist first time visitor getting to the welcome center. Need six team members each week per shift. Passenger Cart Driver
Shifts are 9:15-9:40am; 10:30-11:00am or 12:00-12:30pm on Sunday. Also help with special worship services and concerts (Patriotic, Christmas concerts, Ash Wednesday, Good Friday and Christmas Eve Services). Transport passengers to their destination on campus or vehicles. Communicate with parking lot hospitality volunteers, church staff personnel in welcome center and chapel office with any special transportation requests. All drivers need to bring a copy of their driver’s license. To sign-up as a driver, click here.
