What to Expect

Roswell United Methodist is a community of people who are all on a journey together. Whatever your background, wherever you are on your spiritual path, committed or simply curious – you are welcome here! Here are a few things you can expect during your first visit.

Parking for visitors. We have reserved the best parking spots, right in front of the Sanctuary building (the large white building toward the back of our campus), for you!

Helpful greeters. Our greeters are easy to find and can help you with any questions you might have or direct you to where you may be going.

A place that values everyone. Our programs for children, middle- and high-schoolers are based on solid principles of safety, love and Biblical teaching. From Sunday School classes for adults to Bible Studies and small groups throughout the week and midweek programs and events we offer a wide variety of programs, events and activities for everyone.

Sunday Morning Worship. “Welcome Home Nine-Thirty” is a multi-generational, family-friendly service that meets at 9:30 a.m. in our Sanctuary. Click here to learn more. You will be on your way by 10:30 a.m. Our 11:00 a.m. traditional service is more formal and includes hymns and the choir accompanied by a piano or the organ. This service typically ends at noon. At 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. each Sunday, Chapel Roswell, a modern worship experience, meets in our historic Chapel. Click here for more information. On the first Sunday of the month, we offer an 8:15 a.m. communion service in our Chapel. Dress varies from business to casual.

Relevant teaching. Our sermons are about 25-30 minutes long. Check out a few before you come – we archive them online.

A large campus with lots of activity throughout the week. Roswell United Methodist is blessed to own and operate on a campus which includes three main buildings as well as several other buildings. The “A” building is our main Sanctuary building. It is tucked near the back of our campus. The “B” building is our Chapel building and houses Kidz Zone and our Fellowship Hall as well as most of our staff offices. This is the first building you see as you enter our campus from Mimosa Boulevard. The “Dodson Center” (or “The Dod) is our Student and Youth building. This is the large yellow Victorian style building.
