Life on Mission: Hope in the Face of Injustice

RUMC's 12th annual Global Impact Celebration

What is Life on Mission: Hope in the Face of Injustice?

Life on Mission: Hope in the Face of Injustice is the theme of RUMC's 12th annual Global Impact Celebration. This is a four-day, church-wide event packed with opportunities for you and your family to engage in the missional movement of RUMC, hear from several of our local and global missionaries and mission partners, experience a new country and culture without leaving Roswell and learn how you have the opportunity to make a tangible and lasting impact in the Kingdom.

This year, we will be taking a deeper look at the injustices each of our mission partners face, and how through the rising up of the local church and the work of the Holy Spirit, lives are being transformed, restored and made whole, right here in Roswell and around the world. Come with open ears and open hearts as to how God might be calling you into living Life on Mission in a new way!

The Compassion Experience

Have you ever wondered what life is really like in other parts of the world? What if you could experience it for yourself — without leaving Roswell? This interactive, immersive walk through experience allows you to step into the life of a child who has suffered under the crippling weight of poverty. In the span of 20 minutes, you will travel with that child from hardship to hope. You will bear witness to the child’s story transformed through the support of Compassion International and how we have the opportunity to be a part of this transformation in the name of Jesus!

The Compassion Experience will be located on the RUMC campus throughout the duration of Life on Mission: Hope in the Face of Injustice!
