October 21, 2017
Be sure to set aside the morning or afternoon of October 21 to serve our neighbors. We’ve lined up several projects and opportunities both on campus and throughout Roswell so that everyone can get involved–couples, families, kids, youth, and adults. Reach beyond RUMC and serve others in the community to make connections, make a difference, and make an impact!
We are excited to offer two shifts for our Rise Against Hunger program (formerly FoodStock). We have set a goal of packaging 50k meals — that requires 200 volunteers!! We NEED your help. Kids as young as 3 years old can participate in this project.
When: Saturday, October 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 or 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.. (Several pre-day and post-day opportunities available as well)!!
Join us for a light breakfast at 8:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall at RUMC, then head out to your projects.
Who: Everyone! Childcare is available for morning projects (up to 5 yrs). Groups are encouraged to “adopt” a project. Team leaders are needed to coordinate each project.
Where: There are projects both on RUMC campus and in the community.
