Explore

(Preschool – Kindergarten)

Explore meets in the Sanctuary building at 9:30 and 11 a.m. They will also meet in the Chapel building at 11 a.m. for the Chapel Roswell service.

First Time Guests

We look forward to seeing you in Roswell Kids (RK) Explore!  Our staff and volunteers work hard to create a safe and secure environment for your child where they can learn about God and have fun. Here are a few things that will help you have a stress-free time on Sunday morning:

We offer Explore for the 9:30 and 11 a.m. services in the Sanctuary.

Reserved parking is available for families with children. Look for the signs in the large parking lot in front of the covered staircase into the main sanctuary.

Our preschool and kindergarten classrooms are located on the first floor of the Sanctuary building, along with the nursery.

When you arrive, please come to the Roswell Kids information area located immediately as you enter the Sanctuary building on the lower level.

Our staff and volunteers are looking forward to meeting you!

We will help you fill out a simple registration form. At that time, please let us know of any allergies or health concerns. Alternatively, you can click here to pre-register your child. A staff member or volunteer will show you to the appropriate age-level classroom.

We also offer Explore for the 11 a.m. Chapel Roswell service in the Chapel.

Our preschool and kindergarten classrooms are located on the second floor of the Chapel building. Greeters will be happy to help you check in on one of the kiosks and direct you to the preschool or kindergarten rooms down the hall.

RK Explore

In Explore, we have lots of fun learning about God through singing, interactive Bible stories, crafts, games and activities each week!  We can’t wait for you to join us and make new friends as we build our foundation of faith.  Classes are available during all three worship services. Each sessions offers small group and large group.

We usually serve Goldfish™ and/or Cheerios™. If we are serving something else, a sign will be outside of your child’s classroom informing you of the new food item. If your child has any allergies or special dietary needs and cannot eat what we have provided, please inform the teachers and bring appropriate snacks for them.

If your child is potty training, please be sure to communicate that to the teacher, and bring an extra change of clothes.

Curriculum

Our Roswell Kids staff writes the curriculum for our Explore group. Parents receive an email on Sunday with the day’s lesson and family discussion questions. Click here to sign up for Roswell Kids emails. Also, we post information about our curriculum on our Facebook page. Click here to view RUMC Roswell Kid’s Facebook page.
