EASTER SUNDAY SCHEDULE (Holy Week information below)
On Sunday, April 16, We will have six opportunities to celebrate our Lord’s resurrection.
7 a.m.: Chapel Roswell (modern service) in the Chapel with Rev. Eric Lee (no childcare provided). Complimentary breakfast 8-9 a.m. in the dining room (Chapel building).
9 a.m.: Welcome Home Easter (family-friendly) in the Sanctuary with Dr. Mike Long. Complimentary breakfast 10-11 a.m. on the Sanctuary south steps
10 a.m.: Chapel Roswell Service (modern service) in the Chapel with Rev. Eric Lee
11 a.m.: Traditional service in the Sanctuary with Dr. Mike Long; music led by the Sanctuary Choir, including their performance of the Hallelujah Chorus.
11:30 a.m.: Chapel Roswell (modern service) in the Chapel with Rev. Eric Lee
1 p.m.: Fountain of Love UMC service on the first level in the Chapel building (Spanish)
- No elementary Kidz Zone or student or adult Sunday School. No youth evening programs.
- Childcare (infants – preschool) is available for the 9, 10, 11, and 11:30 a.m. services.
- Shuttle service will be available for 9, 10, 11, and 11:30 a.m. services from City Hall.
Flowering of the Cross – On Easter Sunday, families and friends of RUMC are encouraged to bring flowers and greenery to decorate the Easter cross, which will be located outside the Sanctuary south lobby. Please bring any flowers or greenery that you would like to complete the flower cross. The cross has become a popular location for family Easter pictures. Volunteers from the Worship Committee will be available to assist with placing the flowers on the cross.
7 a.m. – 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.: Ministers serving Holy Communion (Drop-in) in the Chapel
Noon: Youth-Led Service in the Chapel
7:30 p.m.: “Seven Last Words” Service in the Sanctuary • Childcare available for birth to preschool
