Children of all ages are Beginning the Journey of faith alongside our larger church family at Roswell UMC and Chapel Roswell. In their early years, children encounter the love of God through the love shown to them, so we surround our nursery children with loving caregivers and provide a safe and fun environment for them to first encounter God and the body of Christ. As children grow, they begin to explore what faith means for them as they learn the foundational stories. Our preschool and kindergarten classes explore the stories through pretend play and creative expressions of our Christian narrative. As the stories become more familiar, children in grades 1st through 5th begin to investigate the claims of the faith and name their own beliefs. We encourage this investigation with deeper storytelling and class time devoted to asking open and honest questions of the faith. Through it all, Roswell Kids leads children in Beginning the Journey as they worship God, grow in knowledge, and serve their neighbors
