Dec. 15: Christmas Festival Concert –  The Dec. 10 concert has been rescheduled to Friday, Dec. 15, at 7:30 p.m. due to a power outage. Tickets will not be necessary. Information: 770.594.0512 or amoore@rumc.com

Dec. 16: An Evening in Bethlehem 10th Anniversary Come experience a Christmas like no other! Journey through an indoor reenactment of 1st century marketplace before you witness the joyous birth of our new King, Jesus. The village will be open from 4-6:30 p.m. in the dining room. The Presentation of the Nativity will take place at 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall. NOTE: Both Nativity Presentation Times are full we can no longer accept registrations. This is a free event for all ages and is open to the community. (A suggested donation of $10 per family is appreciated.) More information at rumc.com/bethlehem

Dec. 17: The Michael O’Neal Singers host their twelfth annual Messiah Sing-Along in the RUMC Sanctuary on Sunday, December 17, at 3 p.m.  Bring your own score or purchase one at the door.  Listeners are more than welcome! Tickets/information: 770.594.7974 or mosingers.com

Dec. 17: The WAY, Middle School Worship Arts group, presents “In Bethlehem Inn.” Join The WAY on Sunday, Dec. 17, at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall when it will be turned into the Bethlehem Inn! You’ll get a chance to be a first-hand observer of the events that occurred on the night Christ was born. The Innkeeper and his family will be serving a wonderful dinner at the inn. Don’t be surprised if our dinner gets interrupted – more than once. This is a very unique experience that you won’t want to miss. Tickets are $10 each and include dinner and dessert. Tickets can be purchased at the Dod office.

Parking Shuttle Options on Christmas Eve—Parking Shuttles are available City Hall on Sunday, Dec. 24 from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Look for the RUMC/Chapel Roswell parking sign in the City Hall parking lot and take the shuttle to the RUMC Campus.

Drop Off/Pick Up Locations:

  • The Chapel building (at the main entrance)
  • The Dod (at the “Scout Hut,” the white house in the Chapel building parking lot across the street) 
  • The Sanctuary building (at the North Entrance)

Using this “door-to-door” service will help serve our first-time guests and visitors on campus and enable growth at RUMC. Thank you for considering this option, especially during busy Sundays like Christmas Eve!
