Big Things Happen in Small Groups Covenant Groups at RUMC are made up of people who have common interests. Together they investigate the Christian faith, grow spiritually, offer mutual encouragement, reach out in ministry, and connect socially.Every group has a different blend of people and personalities; each one has a truly unique flavor. Most groups, however, are characterized by a generous mixture of socializing -- which usually includes food, an open Bible discussion, prayer for another’s needs, the celebration of another’s joys, and the tireless expression of mutual support. A Covenant Group is learning about other people and what is happening in their lives and not just a Bible study. It really is a time for "journeying" through a life of faith.
